This stretch of the world is known to be one of the most sought-after locations for passionate outdoor and landscape photographer.
Imagine placing your camera in the heart of the Southern Andean mountains, between Argentina and Chile. Unimaginable sights, glacier-fed lakes, rivers, and waterfalls, jagged peaks, plus incredible cloud formations are the settings awaiting you for the photo trip of a lifetime.
This adventure is designed to guide you to the most stunning locations in Southern Argentina and Chile during the peak of the autumn colors. Together we will photograph the many wonders within the National Parks, Los Glaciares, Perito Moreno, and Torres del Paine. The raw natural beauty of these places will awaken your creativity and spark your senses.
Because we want you to focus on capture the charm and soul of Patagonia, we have curated an itinerary that takes into account both easy access to the locations and convenience.
Our group will be staying as close as possible to the shooting locations without sacrificing comfort.
This photo tour will be led by two tour leaders and a local mountain guide expert. A team of two leaders ensures flexibility for the group, and it provides the perfect mix of photo possibilities throughout the tour in Patagonia.
When: April 12th to 24th, 2022.
Who: Open to all skill levels, non-photographer spouses are welcome.
Group Size: Minimum 4 People, Maximum 12 People.
Where: This photo tour starts and ends in El Calafate, Argentina. Airport Code (FTE).
Fitness Level: Moderate/Active. Access to most of the shooting locations in Patagonia is by hiking. However, most of the walks are rated easy and some moderate. Average hiking distances are 3 to 4 miles round trip, and the longer one is 12 miles. Elevation gain varies per hike.
The tour is open to all levels of photographic skills, from beginner to experienced. However, there will be no formal workshops or critiques. We will share knowledge and skills along the way, in the spirit of real adventurers.
